EDUCATION

Recognising the value of education in empowering the visually impaired, the Pakistan Association of the Blind (PAB) Bahawalnagar branch provides free education to pupils from impoverished families. Students at PAB routinely show that their capabilities and abilities are comparable to those of sighted people. Since 1996, the group has proudly achieved nearly 100% success rates in board exams for matriculation and intermediate levels.

01

Primary to Higher Secondary Education

Since the beginning, the organisation has been committed to delivering quality education to the visually impaired, from Primary to Secondary school level. Using braille systems, audiobooks, assistive devices, and modern social media platforms, we try to provide an inclusive learning environment that allows students to grow academically and socially.

02

Higher Education: College and University Admissions.

As part of our objective to help visually impaired students achieve their educational goals, we assist them in gaining admission to prevalent colleges and University across the country. Our services include providing writers and transportation to test centres in the city of Chishtian, guaranteeing that every student has the resources they need to pursue higher education.

03

Library: Audio and Braille Collection

As part of our commitment, a well-equipped Braille and Audio Library was founded in 2018. This library is essential in giving visually impaired students with easy access to educational materials, allowing them to complete their studies independently and with dignity.

04

Scholarships

The mission of PAB Bahawalnagar goes beyond the provision of basic education and rehabilitation services. Scholarships are awarded to deserving individuals to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder their pursuit of higher education and personal growth.

05

Extracurricular activities

PAB Bahawalnagar believes in the comprehensive development of visually impaired individuals. Academics and extracurricular activities are both equally important. We endeavor to ensure that our members participate in sports, arts, and other recreational activities that promote their mental, physical, and social growth, just like any other member of society

Individuals were bound to give charity to a visually impaired individual. There was no awareness of these individuals’ potential and the need for dignity and respect.
